I painted this in my favourite “all prima” (all at once) method, using a limited palette of oil paints. I did not draw out anything ahead, but rather worked to capture the abstract shapes and colours, allowing the detail to appear gradually, and only where needed. Both this old bicycle and its Italian street were sturdy, experienced and full of memories.

Signed and numbered, giclée on acid-free matte paper. limited edition of 150. Sized at 11 x 14″, with bicycle image at 8 x 11″  (fits easily within either an 11 x 14″ or 9 x 12″ frame).
